God's Free Gift To You!

While all the others we find in this world are making offers where they claim to give you something free, there is almost always a "catch" or it is an empty promise.  This is not true about the free gift which God has made available to all of us.  The only thing we must do is to accept what He has to say about the matter and respond accordingly.

10812. God's Simple Plan OF Salvation

  1. All have sinned—

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

  1. Sin must be paid for—

"For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life" (Romans 6:23).

  1. Jesus Christ paid for our sins—

"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).

  1. What we must do—

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).

  1. How we can know we are on our way to Heaven—

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life..." (John 3:36)

  1. How To be Sure We are Saved—

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12).

Three Things Worth Knowing

D. L. Moody told: "An old man got up in one of our meetings and said, 'I have been forty-two years learning three things.' I pricked up my ears at that. I thought if I could find out in three minutes what a man had taken forty-two years to learn, I should like to do it.

The first thing he said he had learned was that he could do nothing toward his own salvation. 'Well,' I said to myself, 'that is worth learning.'

The second thing he found out was that God did not require him to do anything. Well, that was worth finding out, too.

And the third thing was that the Lord Jesus Christ had done it all, that salvation was finished, and that all he had to do was to take it. Dear friends, let us learn this lesson. Let us give up struggling and striving, and accept salvation at once."

"Model Prayer for Repentant Sinners"

Lord Jesus, I accept the fact that the Bible is true when it says all have sinned and are in need of a Savior.

I further believe that you, the Son of God, came to earth and took on human form.

I believe you paid the ultimate price for all mankind's sins by dying on the Cross of Calvary.

I repent of my sinful nature and ask you to come into my heart and life.

Be my Lord and Savior by  cleansing me of my sinful desires.

I accept your free gift of eternal life with you in Heaven.

Thank you for being so loving and compassionate toward all mankind, and especially me.
